  In the 1940's Mexico started a successful campaign called Green Revolution, a concept designed for Agricultural innovation. Fast forward to this era, Green Revolution now focuses on renewable energy resources and recycling. What's (really) in our water? Well, Water consists of 2 parts as we all know from our Science class. These are 2 Hydrogen and 1 Oxygen earning it's symbol identity as H2O
which is a simple amalgamation of 2 basic elements. Although the water has that simple formula H2O, it actually has a complex chemical solutions. "Pure water" essentially is nonexistent in the natural environment. Natural water, whether in the atmosphere, on the ground surface, or under the ground, always contains dissolved minerals and gases as a result of its interaction with the atmosphere, minerals in rocks, organic matter, and living organisms.In underdeveloped countries the challenge in their source for drinking water is water borne bacteria and contaminants cause by careless disposal of waste. But in developed countries, the challenge is more on contamination of chemical pollutants and treatment for safe consumption. Since there is a great concern about bacteria and pollutants getting into our water despite the aggressive treatment done to municipal water supply around the country, we must look at ways and means to develop another ways of treating our water. Treating the water to protect the public is one thing but using harmful chemicals like the ones disclosed in the 2009 annual report in NY is another thing... With all the technological breakthroughs why can't we use something that is completely safe...instead of safe only in certain amount such as Sodium hydroxide which is also known in layman's term as "LYE"? Wait a minute...did I really see "LYE" in their report? Woh, I thought they only use this for rat poison!!! Don't we already ingest enough Chlorine (a solution use to treat swimming pool that the kids we're told not to drink) and Fluoride or Hydroflouric Acid (a by product of fertilizers and aluminum production) in our drinking water? At least I thought!  So I was naive as some concerned expert thinks the other way... Now I ain't making this stuff up. He's exposing the truth about Fluoride in our water...I salute this Doc by banging his career against the giants in the industry. Regarding LYE in our drinking water...here is an excerpt from Toxic Substance Information Agency.  Surprisingly, they never mentioned that this stuff is also being use to treat our drinking water. Huh! I thought it is clearly stated that very low levels can cause irritation of the skin and eyes...hmmm I wonder what it does when we are expose to a tiny teeny weeny amount for years and years and years...I hope it's completely harmless. Although , I've heard about genetic mutations among fish and other marine species that we're exposed to this stuff. Makes me wonder ha! So here's the media that is also doing their own independent findings... Ha! Lead too! Water is supposed to sustain life not cause disease...
So after the experts began exposing the truth on tap water...the bottling companies jump into business and got busy...
so busy that everyone was lured to make their own production. After all it cost a lot less to produce bottled water than to make a soda or any other drinks. As a result, we now have hundred different brands of bottled water... And because they said it's good and safe... and after learning the truth we thought...forget about tap water. We stayed as far away as we can and SWITCHED to drinking bottled water only...but did we really made the right decision!!! What's exactly in that great looking bottle? Here's a recent report. Here's an eye opener facts about bottled water... Yeah, hype. But is that what's all there is...hype? Let's find out from the next investigative clip. Now that's disgusting to learn! Let see if we can find anything good with bottled water... Ok, reports said...and these are investigative reports.  So that's what most of us contributed to our ecosystem. By consuming bottled water...we became a part of the problem instead of the solution. Money wise, it didn't help either because even with tough economic times, we need to survive and water is a necessity... so we are willing to pay for the high cost price. Adding the cost for deposit makes it even more unhealthy to our wallet...is it really worth it! Let's see:  So to those who are advocating for the green movement... Are we all aware that bottled water has devastating effects to our environment also? Because...  I think that's a lot... In general it doesn't do any good to our economy either, look... 
Now that's a staggering number! Care for more bottle to drink? Now, this is not only detrimental to our environment...but because of reverse osmosis filtration, bottled water they claim has no chlorine...but surprisingly some was found (in some independent lab test) to even have other chemicals and bacteria normally found in tap water. Surprise! Now here's a new added feature of Poland Spring for kids.  So they've added fluoride! For what? So that they can claim that they have some good stuff in their water! Aren't these people not listening...reading or are they completely out of touch? Numerous recent study revealed that Fluoridation cause more problems. You've watch that clip with the Dentist right? But anyway, no matter what they say...bottled water is a dead water and highly acidic...why? Remember the Sodium Hydroxide? The absence of this chemical makes it highly acidic. Got Acid Reflux? Don't everyone has! Ever wonder why purple pill and other antacids tops the list for most wanted over-the-counter medicines? Now that we know. What are we gonna do? I'm a green advocate, I would ditched and ban bottled water...ever!!! But what are we gonna drink? We can't possibly survive without water!
